Low Transfection Efficiency
- apply a visual transfection control to monitor and optimize transfection conditions.
- use high quality plasmid DNA specific for transfection.

Auto-oxidization of Substrate D-Luciferin
- make aliquotes of Luciferase Assay Reagent, store at -20°C away from direct light.
- use a new aliquot of Luciferase Assay Reagent if used longer than 3 hours.
