UMB6JD7 Embryonic Stem Cells were derived from C57BL/6J mice inner cell mass of blastocyst and can be utilized to introduce genetic mutations with gene targeting vectors through homologous recombination.

Use of PriCoat? T25 Flasks (G299) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) is required for cell adhesion to the culture vessels. Grow cells in ECM-coated culture vessels with the following conditions. Cell line must be maintained on γ-irradiated mouse embryonic fibroblasts (T2003). The base medium for this cell line is Prigrow III medium available in abm, Cat. No. TM003. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: horse serum to a final concentration of 10% and 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin (G255). Atmosphere: air: 95%, CO?: 5%; Temperature: 37.0°C. |
