MBS762705 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Beta-thromboglobulin (Beta-TG) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing Beta-TG. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS762705 kit is based on Beta-TG antibody-Beta-TG antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Beta-TG antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, Beta-TG. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Principle of the Assay||This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti-beta-TG antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti-beta-TG antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and wash with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the beta-TG amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of beta-TG can be calculated.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the CXC chemokine family. This chemokine is one of the major mediators of the inflammatory response. This chemokine is secreted by several cell types. It functions as a chemoattractant, and is also a potent angiogenic factor. This gene is believed to play a role in the pathogenesis of bronchiolitis, a common respiratory tract disease caused by viral infection. IL8: IL-8 is a chemotactic factor that attracts neutrophils, basophils, and T-cells, but not monocytes. It is also involved in neutrophil activation. It is released from several cell types in response to an inflammatory stimulus. IL-8(6-77) has a 5-10-fold higher activity on neutrophil activation, IL-8(5-77) has increased activity on neutrophil activation and IL-8(7-77) has a higher affinity to receptors CXCR1 and CXCR2 as compared to IL-8(1-77), respectively. Belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
