Supplied as a liquid in 0.01M PBS, PH 7.4, 0.03% Proclin 300, 50% glycerol. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Immunogen
Recombinant corresponding to human Tyrosyl-tRNA synthetase, cytoplasmic.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-yars antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for yars
Function: Catalyzes the attachment of tyrosine to tRNA(Tyr) in a two-step reaction: tyrosine is first activated by ATP to form Tyr-AMP and then transferred to the acceptor end of tRNA(Tyr)
By similarity.
Catalytic activity: ATP + L-tyrosine + tRNA(Tyr) = AMP + diphosphate + L-tyrosyl-tRNA(Tyr).
Subcellular location: Cytoplasm
By similarity.
Sequence similarities: Belongs to the class-I aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family.Contains 1 tRNA-binding domain.
